Builder of businesses · Maker of things · Rooted in Nepal
Arpan Jargha Magar
Founder and CEO of Jarghaa Furniture — a luxury handmade furniture workshop in Lalitpur, Nepal. Fifteen years of building operations, teams, and products across IT, real estate, and craft.
I have spent my career learning how things are built — networks, property portfolios, and now, objects made to outlast the people who buy them.
I started in information technology, keeping corporate networks alive at Websurfer Fiber Internet and selling software services at Proshore. That taught me systems thinking: how small parts fail, and how to keep them running.
Then came property — first as administrator and general manager at Dokohomes, then as admin manager at UK Sansar Estate Agency, where I helped a young agency grow into residential construction, deal sourcing, HMO management, serviced accommodation, and development.
In June 2025 I founded Jarghaa Furniture in Lalitpur. It brings everything together: reading what customers need, negotiating, running teams, and holding a standard of quality you can only reach by hand.

Jarghaa Furniture
Luxury handmade furniture, shaped by hand and built to last a generation.
Jarghaa Furniture is my workshop in Lalitpur. Every piece is shaped with the care you only get from craft — no shortcuts, no mass production, just timber, tools, and attention.
Running it draws on everything before it: reading what customers need, negotiating, managing property and teams, and keeping operations steady.
Beyond the workshop, I bring operational and commercial experience to partners.

In their words
What clients, colleagues, and partners say about working with me.
“Arpan understood the brief before I finished explaining it. The finish on the walnut table was flawless — my client asked for the maker’s name.”
Prarambha Shakya · Interior designer, Patan
“I specify a lot of furniture across the valley. Jarghaa is the only workshop that has never made me chase a deadline or apologise to a client.”
Nischal Tuladhar · Architect, Kathmandu
“He measured twice, asked what we actually used the room for, and then built something better than the design we walked in with.”
Dikshya Amatya · Homeowner, Lalitpur
Off the pitch
Football has taught me as much about leading people as any role I have held.
I have supported Liverpool since the Brendan Rodgers years — a period that included a genuine title challenge and more than its share of disappointment. Jürgen Klopp's arrival changed the club's direction. He set out to turn doubters into believers, and he did it by rebuilding the squad, the culture, and the standards expected of everyone at the club.
Arne Slot then delivered the club's 20th league title in 2024-25, sealed with a 5-1 win over Tottenham at Anfield — the first won in front of supporters there since 1990. The following season proved harder, and the club changed direction again, appointing Andoni Iraola in June 2026.
Build, peak, decline, rebuild. Anyone who has run a company will recognise the pattern. It is the same discipline in a different arena.
The players and managers I have admired most:
Steven Gerrard— captain, and the standard I measure leaders against
Philippe Coutinho— creativity in the tightest spaces
Jürgen Klopp— the manager who rebuilt the club
Trent Alexander-Arnold— homegrown, and a decade of service
Mohamed Salah— consistent in the decisive moments
Roberto Firmino— the link that held the attack together
Following a club for this long is a lesson in patience: the rebuilding matters as much as the winning.
Notes
Short essays on craft, entrepreneurship, and building a business in Nepal.
Jarghaa Furniture is at the start of a longer story. Luxury handmade furniture in Nepal and across South Asia is a market that still rewards craft, trust, and patience — the exact things I have spent fifteen years earning.
A growing brand with a clear identity and an owner who runs the workshop.
Proven operator experience across property, telecom, and sales.
An open door to the right partners: capital, distribution, mentorship, or craft expertise.
